No Kissing No offense to Europe, but why do the guys kiss on the mouth over there. Maybe not all of them do this but what's up with that? It makes me a little sick to see it. Back when my family had foreign exchange students from France, whenever something good would happen they would kiss each other on the mouth. We were shocked everytime and looked at each other like what the hell just happened. Even when they kiss on the cheek it still freaks me out. Just shake hand or give each other a high five or something.
Media Propaganda? Is the media dishing out propaganda? Well, if they say what you want to hear, it's not, but if they say something that you do not agree with, it is. Hmmm...interesting. So you end up believing only selected stories and everything else is absurd and untrue. Right?
War Games Since they are saying that we are about to start the war, I thought I better look into it so I could have at least a little bit of knowledge about it. Everything may not be entirely correct or it may be only one sided but it's stuff I didn't know before. They said that there has been a holocaust going on in Iraq for about 35 years. Saddam Hussein has killed between 1 and 1.5 million of his own people. Some people say that we should be going after N. Korea instead of Iraq because they have known weapons of mass destruction. The difference is that not only does Iraq have weapons of mass destruction, they have used them... on their own people. N. Korea will probably be next in line to deal with because they are making nuclear weapons and have kicked out UN inspectors and will not let them back in. Even though weapons of mass destruction were not found in Iraq that doesn't mean they don't have them. The nerve gas stuff they found years ago that they never destroyed cannot be found now, they are still there somewhere. In the 55 year history of the United Nations existence there have been between 150 and 200 wars. Only 2 of those wars have been approved. That just proves that you do not have to have the UN approval to declare war. It's probably good to have approval but it's not necessary. Also, George Bush can't just decide that he wants to start a war. It has to go before congress first and in this case it already has and they have giving the President approval, but if we really going to war he has to take it back to congress before anything can be done. Alot of people are saying that if we just give Iraq 6 more months, maybe everything will go away. Everyone already has, many many times. They have been in violation of 18 UN resolutions, how many more will it take? Iraq has needed to be stopped for a very long time and now it is finally going to. Just because some people are learning about it now, that doesn't mean it just started now. I think that half of the protesters around the world that have been marching in the streets against the war in Iraq are either anti-war, anti-American, or just want to take part in a movement to say they were in it. Surely thats not the case for all of them, but alot of people understandably do not like war at all, and also alot of people do not like America for all the wrong reasons. The more I learn the more I understand both sides.
Political Views I've never been big into politics nor one to voice my opinion on the subject so I really shouldn't be talking, but why are countries coming down on the US for trying to stop an evil man with evil intentions from making and stockpiling weapons of mass descruction? Maybe I'm not informed well enough to understand but if another country was doing the same thing as the USA is doing now, I think I would fully support them too. There seems to be a lot of countries out there that do not like the USA. The fact that they don't like us doesn't bother me, what bothers me is that they don't like us for all the wrong reasons. Think about it people, the USA is trying to help make the entire world a better place for everyone just like every other country in the United Nations does. The USA was basically empty until people from around the world came to live here. We are all about peace and the pursuit of happiness and if you do not believe in trying to help make the world a better place, then maybe you should move to one of the terrorist countries.
Pick a side, any side I've been thinking about how we separate ourselves from one another and try to compete with everyone. Whatever it may be we are competing for or against we still separate oursleves into different categories and classifications or whatever it may be. First of all we compete with our siblings (brothers and sisters) and then with other immediate relatives and outside relatives, family name, etc. We then compete with our neighbors and then to what street you live on and then to the neighborhood and which part of town you live in, zip codes, area codes, what county, what section of state, which state, which section of the country, which division, which area, which time zone, which country, which continent, which bodies of oceans we butt up against. Some of these we don't even get to chose what we are fighting for others we do, like race, religion, creed, political views, even down to stuff like what you drive and your house and your clothes maybe even your hair color and eyes. All this made much more sense when I was thinking about it. What it boils down to is what side we are on. Everyone takes a side and separated theirself from whoever is taking the other side. I bet that if something bad was going to happen to the whole world, we would all be on the same side, all of our side taking would fly out the window and become one.
Christina Aguledda Why is everyone making such a big deal about Christina Aguilera's video? I honestly didn't see anything wrong with it. Looked just like a Britney Spears video to me. All you have to do is mention her name now and people make nasty faces and say bad things about her. It's called a marketing ploy and was set up by her record company that probably owns her every move and told her to do it. She probably didn't even know what the video was about until she showed up for rehearsal. It has come to my attention that majority of people are just plain dumb and can't think for theirself. If you are reading this right now that means that you are obviously not stupid or else you wouldn't be here ;-)
White Nigger I was leaving a gas station just about to get in my car when a black guy came out of the store and said to me, did you see a white nigger go around the side of the building. I didn't see anyone so I told him no, but I got to thinking, whats a white nigger? If he would have said wigger or cracker or honky I would have known because thats what they call us around here, but a white nigger? hmmm. Maybe its a black guy who acts like a white person? I dunno
Same Thing? Do you remember when your parents used to tell you to stop sitting so close to the TV or you would ruin your eyes? Well what are you doing now? You are about 2 or 3 feet away from your monitor aren't you. I bet you never were that close to your TV
I love you can I have a never ending garbage can. I've been pushing down the stuff on top and adding more trash to it for over a month now. I know that one day it will finally have to be dumped, but until that day comes I would like to send a shout out to my garbage can for not making me have to dump it so often. Thanks.
Follow The Leader You want to know what bugs the shit out of me? Well, you're gonna hear it. It's people that do something because they think its cool or the thing to do. They listen to a certain band or type of music just so they can say they listen to it and people will think they are cool or something. Or they wear a certain brand or type of clothing because that is what's cool at the moment. I've seen so many people doing it, it's not even funny. I mean come on people, live for yourself and not for somebody else. Being open minded is one of the greatest things you can ever do. Have you noticed how new bands only have a shelf life of a few months and if you still listen to that band after the cut off date then you are made fun of. How stupid is that? Hey, the communist are calling and they want their crazy thoughts back. This applies to almost everything and everyone out there. Even people who feel they have to wear a suit and tie everyday. That's like dressing up for your own funeral and already having the noose around your neck. Just live a little, please. If not for you, do it for me...hehe
Stop Calling Me Just a little while ago I got a phone call and some lady said, this is your area relay service please hold for message. So I hold for the message and then she says, he is asking where is *** road off of *** road, and then she said go. I didn't know what was going on so I told her I don't know and she started typing. Then she says, he wants to buy something at a yard sale and wants to know where the street is, I don't know who this person is or why they called me so I just said I have no idea what's going on and she typed that in and sent it to whoever it was. She returns and says, he said whatever nevermind, and added, he is hanging up now. Okkkay. That was kinda strange. Maybe everyone else has this service and its just new to me. Or maybe its like Onstar or some GPS deal. Or maybe its the FBI doing a voice recognition on me because they are all after me. Or maybe not.
