My Pop-Up Stopper
First of all, download IE6 with the latest patches and/or the latest release.
These setting below should only be changed when you know you will encounter pop ups
With the same box open, scroll down and change this setting:
Scroll down close to the bottom and change these also
These setting should only be changed when you know you will be visiting sites that have pop ups or dialer.exe installers such as some questionable porn sites.
After you visit those sites you will need to change the the java and scripting settings back to normal because some sites won't function properly...such as web based email like yahoo or something similar.
These temporary setting will not allow pop ups or dialer programs to run or install on your computer.
